The letter in square brackets stands for the category of document. For a list of categories click on "more...".


What is non-patent literature?

In addition to patent literature, the EPO's search documentation includes any other printed or non-printed matter that may be technically relevant for the patent-granting procedure. This is referred to as "non-patent literature" (NPL).
